As the daughter of an OFW living in Shanghai, Stephanie has often wondered what a homecoming to her motherland would be like after twenty years. Seizing the chance to explore the topic for her second-year major project, the balikbayan experience of three OFWs are explored. Though diverse in background, each OFW presents a life of perseverance and family. The fictional story of twin sisters Maria and May underlines and emphasizes the common longing for home and the struggles of facing uncertainty.
